Admission Process

Southeast University is one of the 32 universities administered directly by the Department of Education of China, which are considered the medical universities in China. The university has 16000 undergraduate students and 10000 graduate students in more than 30 schools and departments. Southeast University admission is very competitive. Normally, the university enrolls the best 2% high school students from across the country to its undergraduate programs, and 5% of the undergraduate students to its graduate program.

Students who want to apply for MBBS at Southeast University must fill the form available at the website. The student must make sure to fill the correct and complete details in the form and submit it online. Upon successful submission of form the student will be guided how to proceed further within 7 working days by the university authorized service partner either by phone or through email.

The student must submit the below mentioned documents online as and when instructed for admission at Southeast University by the authorized service partner. The documents required for MBBS at Southeast University are:

  1. Coloured scanned copy of 10th Mark sheet
  2. Notarized copy of 12th Mark sheet
  3. Notarized copy of NEET Scorecard
  4. A copy of original passport
  5. Police Clearance Certificate
  6. Record of Physical Medical Check up
  7. Student coloured passport size photograph

When the university receives these documents, it checks as per the eligibility criteria. The university then issues the admission notification to the eligible applicants who have applied for MBBS in Southeast University and asked to transfer the university fee and application fee to the university account for the confirmation of seat. The fee must be transferred to the university account within 7 working days and the swift receipt of the same must be shared with the university to confirm the receipt of the fee.  The student documents re then sent to the ministry by the university to process the JW202 (Visa Invitation) for the admitted student and sent to him as soon as it is received. The student must carry the same along with the other required documents to the China Embassy in home country for visa stamping formalities. The student can fly to China once the visa is granted to him. He/She must carry all the documents in original and must submit the documents in person at the Southeast University Overseas Admission office for successful registration at the university and register himself as an MBBS student at Southeast University.  The student must make sure to report on or before the deadline mentioned on his /her admission letter to avoid any cancellation.
